Join our friends at LASM partner church, Southwest Baptist Church, for a social on Tuesday, January 9th at Noon. The social will be held in Memorial Hall. Enter through the church’s main doors at 6401 Scanlan. Potluck lunch, bring a dish to share. After lunch, we’ll learn about the life of Betsy Ross via a living history presentation by Barbara Kay. Barbara’s costumed portrayal of Betsy Ross will make history come alive! Come learn about the woman widely credited with making the first American flag, whose birthday happens to be in January.
