Join us on a voyage over the river to Collinsville, IL!
We’ll begin our day with a visit to Cahokia Mounds where we’ll view the video “City of the Sun”, go on a self-guided tour through the Interpretive Center and take advantage of photo ops in front of the big mound. A buffet lunch will follow at Ravanelli’s Restaurant and then we’ll head to Willoughby Heritage Farm. There we’ll travel back to the 1940s farm life with a guided tour, complete with tractors, barns, a 1930s Craftsman-style Farm House, and live donkeys, steers, chickens, and goats! The 30 acres of wildlife preserve features vistas overlooking the bluff line prairie and woodlands of the American Bottom.
