LASM is excited to host a unique Advent experience! You are invited to prepare for Christmas by enjoying a morning of rest and connecting with Jesus in a fresh way! We'll spend time in contemplation, reflection, and prayer as we consider how a historical painting forms us spiritually. Our guides, Melissa McKinney and Amanda Lennon, will gently lead us through a process that helps us comfortably engage with our painting and reflect on how God might be shaping us through it. To close, we'll practice a short time of structured silence with Jesus so that we can notice with him what he might be inviting us to. Whether you are a long-time lover of art or feel brand new, this event is for you.
A fellowship lunch will follow the program. Suggested donation of $20 will cover the program and lunch.
